Abhishek has extensive experience in providing end-to-end solutions to clients in the field of Intellectual Property Rights. Apart from performing due diligence of clients’ Intellectual Property assets, he plays an important role in drafting, filing and prosecution processes of patent applications in India as well as in foreign jurisdictions. This includes international patent application filings and prosecution such as Paris Convention patent applications, PCT applications and related national stage patent applications. He is instrumental in handling oppositions before Indian patent offices, appeals, invalidation proceedings and litigation before Indian Courts.

Abhishek regularly conducts client and third-party portfolio review, complex freedom-to-operate studies, infringement and validity opinion and creates strategic plans for large and small scale companies.

Abhishek’s other areas of expertise include filing, prosecution and opposition challenges in respect of Industrial Designs and Trademarks apart from providing technology transfer strategy, commercialization, technical know-how, evaluation and valuation of Intellectual Property Rights.
